In this workshop the children will begin the day working in clay to create small rabbit sculptures that will be placed onto painted grassy habitat bases – a lovely scene to welcome the season of new life!
Throughout the rest of the day the children will be painting and crafting. They will decorate eggs and make other Easter / Springtime items. All of these will be placed into little colourful baskets that the children will also create.

Springtime through the branches
In this half-day workshop, the children will study the painting by artists such as Van Gogh, Cezanne and Hockney. Working in a semi abstract style, we will focus on the freshness of colour and simplicity of shape in Springtime.
We will focus on the affects that different colours have on each other: experimenting with impact created by complimentary colours and analogue colours.
Initially, studies will be in coloured pencil. These will be developed and transferred to acrylic paintings on Artist’s board.
Easter snacks will be provided.
